Chris is a postgraduate qualified engineer with a strong track record of success in Australia and overseas. Masters of Management and Mechanical Engineering degrees underpin broad skills and experience encompassing Reliability and Maintenance Engineering in demanding environments. He has extensive experience in process plant and equipment, capital intensive maintenance and business improvement through 30 years involvement with Bluescope Steel Port Kembla steelworks and others.
- Managed the Port Kembla Steelworks Utilities Maintenance Department.
- Has held senior roles within Bluescope Steel including leadership of the development and deployment of maintenance technology and plant reliability across the Port Kembla plant.
- Influential maintenance roles in BHP through the BHP Global Maintenance Network.
- He has shared his knowledge and experience with Rio Tinto Alcan, BHP Nickel West Refinery, Santos Port Bonython, CSR Sugar and Loy Yang Power Victoria, BMA Queensland Coal, BHP Pilbara Iron Ore, Mt Arthur Coal and DeBeers Venetia Diamond Mine SA to improve their Asset Management activities.
